I recently enjoyed a much-needed getaway at the Auberge, and it served its purpose well. After weeks of working non-stop in London, I craved a peaceful retreat. Nestled in the French countryside, this place offers a sense of seclusion that I found refreshing. Lee, the owner, is undeniably the heart of the B&B. Her care extends to the delightful homemade meals that highlight local ingredients, which we shared with other guests under the evening sky—an experience that allowed for engaging conversations. During my stay, I took advantage of the tranquil garden and refreshing swimming pool, and I found the fitness classes invigorating, enhancing my experience. I also explored the charming village of Druyes les Belles Fontaines, with its extensive walking trails. If you're seeking a serene atmosphere to unwind, the Auberge might just be your haven. There’s a calming energy here that’s well worth experiencing.
